6th ECPVI

The 6th European Conference on Psychology and Visual Impairment 2016 was held in Budapest. 








The 6th conference „Psychological Survival Skills in Sighted World” was a worthy follower of the series of successful conferences with the participation of 88 professionals from 17 European countries. The conference plenary sections gave place for two key note and 20 oral presentations and 10 posters. The topics were: social participation, aging, visual impairment and autism, family and assessment. Additionally two workshops were organized parallel on aging.

The participants were welcomed in the beautiful auditorium of the School for the blind where they could enjoy a concert given by musicians with vision impairment.

The conference was organized by the Faculty of Special Needs Education of Eotvos University, Budapest together with The Foundation for the Development of Special Needs Education in Hungary
